Aberdeen Proving Ground

KES Engineering, Inc. provided electrical study of the existing electrical power supply at Machine Shop, Building 315. The study included site survey and verification of electrical distribution system including transformers, panel boards, switchboard, lighting and machine shop electrically operated equipment; power monitoring of transformers and main Mill equipment to investigate reported voltage fluctuation and occasional shut down. The study report documented findings and provided an analysis of the problems and recommendations for improvement of the system. We also provided as-built drawings of the entire electrical system for the building.

Under separate contract, KES Engineering, Inc. also provided mechanical and electrical engineering design for HVAC and dust collection/industrial ventilation systems replacement for Machine Shop, Building 315. The design included site survey and data gathering on existing shop HVAC and dust collection/industrial ventilation systems, development of demolition drawings, development of 60% design and specification for new HVAC and dust collection/industrial ventilation systems serving entire machine shop area which is approximately 68,000 SF.
